With a new year upon us, we will try and get some updating done on the family history. We now have the latest gedcom data available in the download area. It requires Personal Ancestory File which is a free download. Just follow the link above, and click on the Order Download Product link. Then in the Download section of our site, you will find the current file. Install the PAF5, then unzip the file you download from our site, and you will be able to open it and edit it yourself. If you are able to do this for your section of the family, you can then send that file back to us, where we can combine all the information, and regenerate the web pages for the Family Index.
It has been nice, in the last week Michael Longhofer dropped us a note, that he lives in the Dallas area, and is an acomplished artist. We have added a link in the Web Link section to his website for future reference. He has some amazing oil paintings!
Yesterday, Peter Langhofer, who lives in Austria, introduced himself, and is hopefully going to be able to help a bit from europe.
Today, we are adding a block, on the left, that will allow you to translate the page text into different languages, which is fun to look at, and very functional for German too!
