Recieved a nice email from Joseph Longhofer. Who is going to send in information on longhofers to help build the database. And he told me about Elizabeth Langhofer O'Donohoe, father, who help build the Arkansas river into a navigatable stream. His work was so noteworthy
that Lake Langhofer at Pine Bluff, Ar. is named for him.
Elizabeth and her brother, William confirmed this information.
